Tarlac State University (TSU) officially welcomed its first visiting professor under the Erasmus+ KA171 Faculty/Staff Exchange Program, Ms. Özge Çekirge of Tarsus University, in a significant step toward strengthening the University’s international academic partnerships and collaborative initiatives.
As part of her academic engagement at TSU, Çekirge will participate in a series of academic, research, and institutional activities with the College of Engineering (COE), particularly the Electrical Engineering and Electronics Engineering programs. Her mobility program includes laboratory and facilities orientation, curriculum and accreditation discussions, faculty research presentations, bilateral research clinics, and visits to the University’s research and innovation centers.
She is also expected to engage in class observations and strategic planning sessions aimed at exploring opportunities for joint teaching, collaborative research, and future academic exchange programs between TSU and Tarsus University.
To further promote intercultural understanding and meaningful collaboration, a Tarlac Cultural Exploration tour will also be conducted as part of the program. Çekirge is expected to stay at the University for two weeks under the Erasmus+ KA171 Staff Training Mobility Program.
