Tarlac State University (TSU) President Dr. Jasper Jay N. Mendoza welcomed Erasmus+ mobility participant, Ms. Özge Çekirge, during a courtesy visit on May 22, 2026, highlighting opportunities to strengthen academic cooperation between TSU and Tarsus University.
Held at the Office of the President (OUP), the meeting focused on reciprocating internationalization efforts between the two institutions through future faculty and staff exchanges, collaborative research initiatives, and potential speaking engagements involving experts from both universities.
Discussions also covered the Solar and Emerging Technologies Center of TSU and possible areas for research collaboration. Both parties explored opportunities to establish linkages with other Asian and European universities, further expanding TSU's international network.
Additionally, President Mendoza and Ms. Çekirge exchanged insights on mobility programs in Asia that could create more opportunities for students, faculty, and staff to participate in international academic and cultural engagements.
The courtesy visit underscored TSU's commitment to fostering global partnerships and advancing its internationalization agenda through meaningful collaborations with institutions across the world.
