BackTarlac State University (TSU), represented by the Office of International Affairs and Linkages (OIAL) Director Dr. Grace N. Rosete, participated in the Erasmus+ Information Day for the Philippines 2025 held on May 6, 2025, at Novotel Manila Araneta City, Quezon City.
The national event was organized by the Commission on Higher Education (CHED), in collaboration with the Delegation of the European Union (EU) to the Philippines and the Erasmus Mundus Association (EMA). It gathered international relations officers (IROs), faculty and staff, and students from various Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) across the country.
The event aimed to raise awareness about the Erasmus+ Program 2025, which offers a wide range of opportunities such as faculty, staff, and student mobility; capacity-building initiatives in higher education; joint Master's degrees; and institutional partnerships between Philippine and European institutions.
Through a series of in-person information sessions, the participants were briefed on the application process, project development, and partnership building between the Philippine and European HEIs. The program featured presentations, panel discussions, testimonials from Erasmus+ alumni, and open forums with EU representatives and CHED officials.
Erasmus+ is the EU’s flagship program for education, training, youth, and sport. It provides funding and support for international academic mobility and collaboration between European HEIs and partner countries such as the Philippines.
