TSU Explores Industry Partnership with British Veterinary Centre in Abu Dhabi

The Office of International Affairs and Linkages (OIAL), together with the College of Computer Studies (CCS), explored a potential industry partnership with the British Veterinary Centre (BVC), a leading veterinary healthcare provider in Abu Dhabi, through a virtual exploratory meeting held on February 5, 2025.

Discussions centered on potential internship opportunities for CCS students, particularly in IT-related roles within a veterinary setting. TSU emphasized the importance of aligning BVC’s internship program with the skill set and expertise of CCS students to ensure a meaningful learning experience.

Additionally, both parties discussed the submission of a formal proposal outlining the objectives, scope, and benefits of the potential internship collaboration. This document will serve as the foundation for the structured implementation of the program.

The meeting concluded with TSU and BVC agreeing to formalize the partnership through a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU), which is set to be signed within the year.
