Tarlac State University (TSU) and Menara Syariah International Financial Center formalized their partnership through the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) on March 18, 2025.
The agreement outlined various areas of collaboration set to take place starting April 2025, including an international webinar where TSU faculty and students may participate for free, as well as short-term faculty and student exchanges and training opportunities.
During the ceremonial signing, TSU President Dr. Arnold E. Velasco expressed his gratitude to the Office of International Affairs and Linkages (OIAL) for its continuous efforts in advancing the university’s internationalization agenda. “This partnership is another step toward making TSU a globally recognized university. I thank OIAL for its commitment to this vision, and I also extend my appreciation to Menara Syariah for their trust in TSU,” Dr. Velasco said.
Menara Syariah Commissioner Mr. Harianto Solichin, in turn, reaffirmed the institution’s commitment to supporting TSU’s internationalization goals. He emphasized that this partnership is a mutually beneficial initiative that will open opportunities for both institutions.
Also present at the event were TSU Executive Assistant to the Vice President for Academic Affairs Prof. Augusto N. Lulu, OIAL Director Dr. Grace N. Rosete, and the Dean of the College of Business and Accountancy Dr. Jhonel C. Panlilio, along with delegates from Menara Syariah.
