TSU was represented by University President Dr. Arnold E. Velasco and Dr. Grace N. Rosete, Director of International Affairs and Linkages, emphasizing the university’s active participation in promoting regional cooperation and further strengthening its IZN efforts.
Organized by the Commission on Higher Education Regional Office III (CHEDRO III) led by Regional Director Dr. Lora Yusi, the conference convened presidents of State Universities and Colleges (SUCs), officials of Local Universities and Colleges (LUCs), International Relations Officers (IROs), and CHED officials to strengthen both regional and global partnerships in higher education.
With the theme “HIRAYA: Honoring Internationalization through Regional ASEAN-Yearned Alliances”, the program included a forum on ASEAN integration and highlighted every institution’s purpose in fostering unity and collaboration beyond borders.
This year’s ASEAN event celebrates not only the 58th founding anniversary of the regional organization, but also giving recognition to the achievements and success of every Central Luzon institution in global rankings such as the World University Rankings for Innovation (WURI) and Times Higher Education.
Through its active involvement, TSU restated its commitment in strengthening ASEAN linkages and advancing internationalization in higher education.
