The Office of International Affairs and Linkages (OIAL) launched its official website and IALLA - a cloud-based data repository - today, February 19, 2025, at TSU Hotel, Villa Lucinda Campus. The event was attended by several key TSU officials, along with College and Office Internationalization (IZN) coordinators.
The OIAL website was developed to support Tarlac State University's internationalization efforts. Designed for user-friendly navigation, its interface mirrors the official TSU website. One of its key features is providing updates on international news and activities across various colleges and offices within the university, as well as announcements for upcoming engagements. It also includes a collection of internationalization initiatives sorted by year, allowing for easy backtracking.
"All these initiatives bring Tarlac State University a step closer to cementing its position in the global arena," emphasized Dr. Grace N. Rosete, Director of the Office of International Affairs and Linkages, during her overview discussion of the website.
Additionally, OIAL introduced the International and Local Linkages Archive (IALLA), a cloud-based repository that stores Memoranda of Agreement (MOAs), Memoranda of Understanding (MOUs), and other accreditation-related documents essential for program accreditation. IALLA streamlines the process of uploading, storing, and managing partnership records, significantly reducing manual workload.
Both the website and IALLA are now operational, with further enhancements underway. IALLA is expected to be fully functional by the end of the first quarter of the year.
Among the key officials present at the launching event were TSU President Dr. Arnold E. Velasco, Vice President for Academic Affairs Dr. Agnes M. Macaraeg, Presidential Assistant Dr. Brigido B. Corpuz, and Dr. Maria Socorro D. Valdez, who represented Dr. NiƱo B. Corpuz, Director of the Office of Quality Assurance. Deans and associate deans from various colleges also attended the event.
