BackIn a continued effort to strengthen its international academic ties, Tarlac State University (TSU) formally signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Westcliff University, on September 17, 2025, via Zoom.
The agreement aims to fortify the foundation for international academic cooperation between TSU and WU. Both universities commit to promoting educational and cultural exchanges, as well as exploring research collaborations, and other mutually beneficial activities.
Under the MOU, TSU and WU agreed to pursue initiatives such as the exchange of faculty, staff, and students for research, teaching, and study, as well as the sharing of academic publications, resources, and information.
During the ceremony, Dr. Jasper Jay N. Mendoza, TSU Vice President for Academic Affairs, delivered the opening remarks. TSU President Dr. Arnold E. Velasco and Westcliff University Vice President and Dean of Global Engagement Dr. Julie Ciancio gave messages of commitment before the ceremonial signing. The program concluded with closing remarks from Dr. Grace N. Rosete, Director of TSU’s Office of International Affairs and Linkages.
The MOU signing emphasizes TSU’s continuing efforts to expand its international linkages and provide global learning opportunities for its academic community.
